WEATHER
9-20-07 Oasis - Great night! We start earlier now.
It's 7pm. Come down early, get home early.
9-21-07 Yeoman's Pub & Grille - It was a Tampa night.

Chris. We had a nice crowd. Bert (a friend of
Gregg's) sat in and sounded good. This is the end of
another week. We have a couple of gigs coming up and some
time off. Barry, Dave, wives and dogs will be camping on
Jekyll Island. No trip as far as I know for Walt or Woody
and families.
In closing, we appreciate everyone that has supported our
music for the years we've been together. Without you we
would not have been able to do what we love to do.
Thanks!!!

pain in the ass, due to weather. My vote is to get a
deposit from these folks so they will be a little less ready to
cancel. Maybe move a few tables or something. Sorry

3-26-07 Hurricane Patty's - It was a Hackers night! Along
with Chris and Gregg we played some great music. Next month, the
Hackers will be Walt, Dave, Woody, Gregg, Frankie and Jim. We
will be heading up to Virginia the middle of May and this will
be practice for the show we will do there.
3-27-07 Hurricane Patty's - Had a good night. This is a great
night for me, I get to play with two of my favorite players.
It's a good way to start the week.
3-28-07 - OFF
3-29-07 Oasis - I (David) had to take myself out of the game at
the beginning of the third set. You'd think with age you'd learn
how to quite doing stupid things. I guess I'm not quite old
enough yet. The shots were flowing and I was trying to drink for
the whole band. I would like to apologize to all the folks at
Oasis. And, thank my band mates for taking the reigns.
3-30/31-07 A1A Ale Works - Great crowd! We had a good weekend.
Barry is a real basketball fan, so it was doubly good for him.
(Just kidding)
4-1-07 Rhythm and Ribs - Did this show out at the events field
downtown. Great time! Saw a lot of old friends. Played some good
music. Ate a lot of Ribs. Thanks, Lisa and crew, you guys are
real pros.
4-2-07 The Royal - 9 showed up to play "The Game".

crowd we have played for.
3-18-07 Sunset Grille - What a great crowd! Over the years this
has probably been one of our most consistent gigs. Always a lot
of friends, always a great time!

IRMA MAY PROVOST DUNAWAY
Irma and her twin brother, Herman (Buddy) were born to Louis &
Ruth Alberta Watson Provost on November 15, 1922. At the onset
of WWII, she wanted to follow in her beloved brother's
footsteps. Not weighing enough for the Marines, she enlisted in
the Coast Guard. This pretty, young girl from Massachusetts fell
in love with a handsome, young farm boy from Columbia,
Mississippi standing in the chow line in San Diego, CA. Both
love-struck, she thought he looked like Big Band Leader, Bob
Crosby, and he thought she had trim ankles "like a race horse,"
and must be a good dancer…it was a Mason-Dixon romance destined
to endure the test of time.
"A real Lady," 84 years young, affectionately called "Ruby,"
will be honored for her zest for life, and devout love for her
family. Her life was characterized by her generosity; there was
no "out-giving" her. Funny! --Her wonderful sense of humor, her
laughter. --Scrappy, testy, staunch in her politics. --Her
inspirational love for music and dance…Sublime. She was the #1
fan of all her kids, down to the 3rd generation. Proud! A "Show
and Tell" opportunist! Always with a wallet full of pictures and
a story to tell. Excellence was her creed, "Good, better, best.
Never let it rest, till your good is better and your better is
best." She was her family's historian. Hundreds of hours of
recordings of her musician children. Hundreds of hours of video
footage of her great-grand daughter's beautiful dance. Thousands
of pictures... She was a "do-er." --A traditional homemaker…
Immaculate "Eat off her floors" clean. Beautiful. --Always so
well-groomed. Active. --There was no slowing her down...
Her courage and strong resolve to battle lung cancer with
surgery and chemo therapy was no less than heroic. Recent
congestive heart failure/pneumonia, immediately followed by
emergency major surgery two weeks ago made her challenge to
rebound insurmountable. With profound grief, her loved ones
remained close at her bedside until she passed away March 9th at
Baptist Medical South, where she received the most vigilant and
compassionate care by all the Staff so committed to her recovery
(Thank You All).
Irma's memory will lovingly be kept alive by her devoted
husband of more than 62 years, (Ret.) USCG Master Chief James M.
Dunaway, and their Children: Don & Sandra Oja-Dunaway, Diane
Dunaway, Dan & Sharon Dunaway Pillen, Barry & Lydia Joiner
Dunaway; Grandchildren: Jim & Melinda Dunaway Morrow, Micah and
Martin Oja-Dunaway, Valerie and Wesley Pond, Brandon Dunaway,
Charlie & Jaime Leigh Fox Ringlein, Kyle and Toby Fox;
Great-grand daughter, Dawn Morrow; Extended family in St.
Augustine: Norman & Marcia Oja, and Betty Joiner. She loved her
grand-dogs: Noggin, Daisy, and Bardock, and her grand-cats: Duke
& Newt, Izzie & Zak, Trixie & Mittens, and Peach.
Mrs. Dunaway, (Aunt) Irma, Mom, Ruby, Mombo, Mama, Grama is
going to be missed, but remembered with the deepest love,
affection, and appreciation. Flowers will be graciously received
because she loved them so much. In lieu of flowers, a donation
may be given to the cancer foundation of your choice in memory
of her.

will be headed for Colorado the rest of this week, we'll miss
him.

too bad these are nice people and a great place to play!
Hopefully next time we get in there it will turn out better. We
would like to thank the folks that came down to see us and also
like to thank Augie's Dogs for booking Those Guys.
3-1/2/3-07 Oasis- It's bike week! We played to a packed house
every night! Chris was filling in for Barry and he did a great
job! Welcome back Woody!
3-4-07 Sunset Grille - It was good to be back at our old haunt.
Great crowd! We saw a lot of old friends we haven't seen since
last year.

Barry's mom Irma passed. We are so sorry and our hearts go out
to the family she left behind. She's in gods hands now. We will
send the information about her services as soon as we get the
information. Barry and family, our thoughts and prayers are with
you, we're so sorry for your loss.

was out to dinner for Valentine's Day. Happy belated Valentine's
by the way!
2-15-07 Oasis - The place was packed! We played over. Rob was
with us and he kicked butt!
2-16,17,18-07 Daytona International Speedway - We had Dave
Johnson on this gig. It was cold most of the time and we were
outside in the sponsor's village. We had a lot of laughs, played
some good music and hopefully made some new fans. We would like
to thank Steve at SunTrust Bank, they took us in out of the cold
and gave us drinks and meals. Also would like to thank Bank of
America and Mobil.
