It's just a lot of fun playing in this band. We went over our
2 new songs, they are coming along nicely. We will start

8-30-06 Hurricane Patty's - We had a great time! Ron
sounded wonderful as usual! Just a good time all around.
8-31-06 Oasis - At a time when things are slow for most places, the
Oasis still kicks ass! We are having some of the biggest crowds
ever! We owe that to our fans. Thanks for your support!
9-1-06 The Jacksonville Landing - We closed a show that included
Heartland and Jake Owens. We missed Heartland's show but
caught some of Jake Owen's show. He had one big band (8
piece). We saw a lot of people we knew. It was a great
time and we played a great show! Looking forward to Sept. 22
with Trick Pony.
9-2-06 OFF
9-3-06 A1A - This is always a great place to play. A tight set up,

I have to make a short newsletter this week. My computer
is down and I had to use the computer at Eclipse Studios.
Thanks Eclipse for letting me do this.
8-22-06 Hurricane Patty's - Had a good night, Ron stopped by, and
did that great thing he does. Thanks Ron!
8-23-06 Cortesse's - It was a Hackers' night! Ron had a

We would like to start off by saying we are giving Scarlett's a
time out. Like the Tradewinds, they did not want to honor
their agreement with us. A lot of our friends say we should
get a contract, but I feel even with a contract, you can still get
screwed. We work hard, and don't have time to deal with people
who's word means nothing.
8-15-06 Hurricane Patty's - It was a special night. Ron and
Gregg showed up from "The Hackers", both sounded great!
8-16-06 Cortesse's - It was a Hackers night! Things are
starting to catch on at this club. We are meeting a lot of new
friends and having a lot of fun! That's what it's all about!
8-17-06 Oasis - The crowd was right with us! That's a great
feeling. I got a little worn out by the end of the night, but
Barry, Walt and Woody kicked it up a notch. Thanks guys, I owe
you 1.
8-18-06 Tailgaters - What a great place and what great people!
Friday was a little slow, we did a lot of jamming. Saturday
was packed and we played our asses off! We would like to thank
Chris (who will be playing in Ron's place at Cortesse's tonight) and
Deb and Kurt Johnson, you guys sounded great!

Walt figured out the problem. Now we're back on track.

control! This could turn out to be a great gig!
8-13-06 Sunset Grille - Great afternoon! We had a few
cocktails (Dave had a few too many). Thom's rear panel got dinged

7-25-06 Hurricane Patty's - It was great to be back on the
stage. Walt and Barry will have some travel stories.
Woody and Dave stayed around town. Craig Hand stopped by and
played a few tunes. He sounded great, we wish him a lot of
luck with his career. Rob Peck also stopped by, its always
great to see Rob. Good start for the week!
7-26-06 Cortesse's - A Hackers Gig. This turned out a lot
better than the first gig (July 5th). This could turn out to be
a lot of fun.
7-27-06 Oasis - One of my favorites because its the first full band
gig. Turned out to be a lot of fun, we had a great crowd.
7-28-06 Eagles Club - Barry and Woody held it down while Walt and
Dave took advantage of the free drinks. That pretty much sums
it up. We had a great time though!
7-29-06 The Landing (Jax) - This could turn out to be a great gig.
U Unfortunately, we were rained out after an hour. Still had a
great time, look forward to our next trip. It was nice to have
most of the wives and girl friends along.
7-30-06 Sunset Grille - What a treat, we had Hans show up from Big
Engine. It's been a long time since Hans played at the Sunset
Grille. We go back a long way, and it was sure great to see
our old friend. Don't be a stranger!
7-31-06 Hurricane Patty's - Another Hackers gig. It was a nice
crowd, not packed but we did have a lot of friends there. It
turned out good. It was nice to see Barry (the bear) and
Lydia. Lydia was a little under the weather so we didn't get a
chance to hear that funky music!
Putting together the songs for our next CD this week.
see you down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've been off all week, as most of you know. I think everyone
had a good time on their break. It's nice to get away or do
stuff around the house you don't normally get a chance to do while
working. I am looking forward to the next stretch. Hope
to see you all at the gigs.
7-23-06 Sunset Grille - Dave and Woody joined Ed and Brady for an
afternoon of music. It was a little slow (Brad's wedding), but
we had one hell of a jam. Thanks Ed, Brady and Woody, it was a
blast!

in with us last Sunday at The Grille. he was excellent as always.
Thanks homeboy!
7-11-06 Hurricane Patty's - This has turned out to be a great gig.
I enjoy starting the week out with Barry and Walt. I like the
whole bands music (acoustic and electric), but I also like the sound
of the 3 of us together. Get by and check it out!
7-12-06 OFF
7-13-06 Oasis - Also one of my favorite days of the week. This
is the first whole band gig of the week. The crowds are great
here. Most of the people know our music real well, makes for a
great night!
7-(14-15)-06 Scarlett's - This can be a fun job because it's one of
the few electric gigs we do in town. This past weekend
reminded me of the old Scarlett's except for where the stage is
located. A lot of energy from the crowd. We had Wes,
Neil and Mike show up from The Dog and Pony Show. Wes and Neil sat
in, did a hell of a job. Thanks guys! Also, Rob Peck
stopped by, he is a great musician and a great friend! Always
good to see you!

7-4-06 Hurricane Patty's - It was the 4th of July and we figured
it would not be crowded. We were wrong! The manager informed us that
it was the best night we had there since we started. So much
for trying to figure things out. Barry and Lydia were out of
town, so Chris was with us. He did a superb job as he always
does. Hope everyone had a great 4th.
7-5-06 Cortesse's - It was a Hackers night. Our first at this venue.
Not much of a crowd
but the show had it's moments. Stop by and catch us at this gig, it
could be a lot of fun!
7-6-06 Oasis - Barry is back! It was wall to wall people and
the band was on!!!!

Jim's 50th. Congratulations!
